So this post is half a year late now. We actually went to Boracay around August 2015 but considering I had no blog then, I guess it’s okay? Haha!
Anyway. I’ve always wanted to go to Boracay. It’s one of my bucketlists and my to-go places. So when my aunt told me we would go there for five days and four nights to celebrate her birthday, my graduation AND my board passing, I was totally ecstatic!
Our flight was on August 23rd. We were supposed to fly at 1 PM but we were delayed for two hours. Since there were still traces of the previous storm then, I could barely see the view through the dark clouds.
After a while, it cleared up and I was rewarded with this!
It was late afternoon when we touched down at Kalibo Airport and already evening when we reached the port.
LOL. I don’t know why I did that pose.
On our second day, we got up early morning to go beach bumming! Almost everyone who saw that we brought chocolates and J.co with us sighed in jealousy. Haha.
This place is so dazzling. Everything is beautiful & peaceful and I loved every second I spent there.
By night, we made tambay on the shore and drunk a few beers. Best feeling, I tell you! Feeling the refreshing wind blowing across your face, spending the night in a lively, relaxing place. For what it’s worth, all those raves about Boracay proved to be true. It’s definitely one of the great tourist spots in the Philippines.
Look how wonderful and fine the sands are in Station 1!
Our next few days were spent eating out and exploring the island. I couldn’t believe how big Boracay is! We tried walking from Station 1 to Station 3 but midway through Station 2, my feet were already killing me. Gah!
I unfortunately don’t have pictures of their market here but the stalls are amazing. It was fun checking them out!
The night life in Boracay is definitely one of the many reasons why people come here often! You’ll never get tired of it!
Happy Birthday, Dyosa!!
Never ever make the mistake of underestimating the power of Boracay slingshot. After three pitchers, we were all completely smashed – and that’s saying a lot since my aunts were real hard drinkers!
ehem, drunk groufie, ehem!
This tastes awesome! Swear!
The grotto found in Station 1
LOL at kuya there. Hi!!
Definitely coming back for more! Hopefully, we’ll get to do sea activities next time since we weren’t able to!
